INTEGRIcollar™The INTEGRIcollar™ is a 2H Offshore riser sensor for accurate and reliable long term measurement of axial and bending stresses.

The device is attached to the riser using two rigid collars that are simply bolted around the riser pipe. Four equispaced ‘gap’ sensors are connected between the collars allowing the pipe axial and bending strains to be accurately captured.

The device relies on the high accuracy and robustness of the ‘gap’ sensors, which are extensively qualified in marine applications. The sensors are fully sealed and rated to 3000m. The INTEGRIcollar™ is manufactured from corrosion resistant alloys coupled with a robust design and non contact sensors to ensure reliable operation for many years without intervention.

The device is ultra low power and designed to interface directly to the INTEGRIpod™ for stand alone or online recording. Additionally, the collar maybe connected to an ROV retrievable INTEGRIpod™ using a wet mateable ROV connection allowing the INTEGRIpod™ to be removed and replaced while leaving the INTEGRIcollar™ connected to the riser.

The INTEGRIcollar™ is well suited to diver attachment and removal should this be a requirement.
