CoSMOS Business Line Transferred to 2H Offshore

2H Offshore, an Acteon company, has recently been assigned the engineering and project management responsibilities for the CoSMOS business line. CoSMOS (Conductor Supported Minimum Offshore Structure) was originally developed by Acteon company UWG. Its unique design features allow installation from a range of vessels but the principle method is to install directly from the jack-up drilling unit avoiding the need for a heavy lift vessel. The CosMOS production platform is designed for application in shallow water up to 50m, depending on environment. The equipment supply and installation support for CoSMOS will be provided by 2H Offshore’s sister companies, Claxton and Interact respectively.
