2H Offshore to Present Integrity Management Paper at DOT Conference 2010
2H Offshore’s Himanshu Maheshwari (Engineering Specialist) and Peter Falconer (Global Business Manager) will present a paper entitled “Effective Implementation of Subsea Integrity Management” at this year’s Deep Offshore Technology Conference held in Houston, Texas.
The paper describes the systematic risk based integrity process adopted by 2H for both new installations and ageing facilities, specific to subsea equipment such as trees, jumpers, umbilicals, manifolds, sleds, etc, in all water depths including deepwater field developments. It not only looks at the general requirements of an Integrity program but also outlines the issues specific to subsea equipment which need to be considered. Further to this, it identifies some of the challenges presented which can be successfully met with appropriate practices. In addition, it briefly indicates why competency of the personnel performing the integrity assurance tasks is essential in providing cost effective integrity assurance.
The paper will be presented by Peter Falconer on Wednesday, February 3rd from 1:15 – 3:15 pm in the Integrity Management Panel (Session 5) at the George R. Brown Convention Center.
